Mass Vs Weight

Mass :
Def = 1) The amount of matter in an object
2) Does not alter wherever you are in the universe.
3) SI unit = gram

Weight :
Def = depends on the force of gravity on the object
measure in newton.

If an object was moved to the moon, the mass would remain same, but the weight would decrease c0z the gravity on the moon is less than earth.

Hard to explain to the children but it's n0t impossible to make them understand.
As a teacher we should be think out of the box.
